The Ravioli

The origin of Italian ravioli is very uncertain. The most famous story tells us that Marco Polo brought them from his travels in the East: Italians may have been inspired by jiaozi or wontons to create this prized dish.

The Focaccia

Its birth dates back to the early sixteenth century in Pompella and Naples which was seasoned with a little garlic, olive oil, cheese made with buffalo milk and rosemary.

Pizza

It is the evolution of focaccia thanks to Raffaele Esposito who created the famous magarita pizza in honor of Queen Magherita. (The original contained the colors of the Italian flag:Basil-Cheese-Tomatoes
